LinkedIn – A Fertile Social Network
LinkedIn is the most fertile social networking site for professionals. I have specifically used the term “fertile” because it has a richness of opportunities for right candidates. If you have the talent and ability to make a prominent place in the market then LinkedIn is the platform to take you to unbelievable places. I remember how enthusiastic I was when I received an email from LinkedIn’s platform back in March 2014 which stated that I could post articles and blog posts on my profile. Being a Digital Marketing professional (with an unconditional love for content writing and content marketing) it was nothing less than a celebration for me.
How LinkedIn Helps In Growing?
LinkedIn has actually helped me grow through the help of its highly professional and friendly members. When I joined LinkedIn back in 2006 I was enrolled in 2nd semester of MBA (Master of Business Administration). Back then I was working with Unilever Pakistan as Junior Manager Imports. With the passage of time I developed my interest in online marketing, digital marketing, content writing, social media marketing and online PR. I learned all the “do’s and don’ts” from Linked-In’s platform as it has numerous great professionals who were and still are always here to help and share their piece of advice and are not reluctant in sharing their real life experiences.
Write On LinkedIn
I shared my views in my posts, (on topics like Human Resource practices, LinkedIn Do’s and Don’ts, social media marketing tactics, content writing and content marketing techniques etc.) on LinkedIn and received great responses. Every reaction helped me in unlocking one thing or the other professionally and other wise. As the saying goes
“Change Is Mandatory For Extraordinary Results”
LinkedIn is the “change” in my social networking life. I have been blessed and lucky enough to receive countless job offers, interview calls and freelance projects through this very professional social networking site. LinkedIn has helped me to reach right individuals in best possible manner.
Recently I received an email from Linked-In stating the following:
Because of your contributions, we’ve reached 1 million posters on LinkedIn.
To celebrate this milestone, we’re tipping our hats to members like you and their successes.
This is quite an overwhelming message to receive from a reputed social networking site for professionals i.e. LinkedIn. It’s an answer to all those fellow colleagues and professional friends who often ask me
“Why do you write on Linked In? Your posts will not make any difference, no one will notice them”
Thank you LinkedIn, for letting them all know that users from LinkedIn are heard, appreciated and focused on…
Improve your LinkedIn Profile. Share your views, ideas and skills on LinkedIn. Engage in dialogues, share informative material and make good yet relevant connections over LinkedIn. If you are someone who’d like to grow in professional career through social networking, spend more time on LinkedIn and keep unlocking success levels.
