Then within a few years spotlight the brand was overtaken by severe competition and could only be found in “grey markets”. HTC has relaunched officially in Pakistan recently. On 25th of May 2016 the grand launch of HTC Pakistan was organized in Karachi by String Media and Oktopus Experience.
Official Distribution Partners Of HTC Pakistan
The official distribution partner of HTC Pakistan is Muller and Phipps, a trusted and reputed name in the Pakistan’s distribution sector. At the event officials from Muller and Phipps along and HTC Pakistan were present to showcase and describe the partnership along with the handsets launched. HTC Pakistan can be considered as one of the toughest competitors for multiple brands which are booming in Pakistan’s smartphone market. Don’t want to quote the names of any competing brands but with specifications and prices like the ones showcased in the launch, it won’t be wrong to say that HTC Pakistan will not only stay but enjoy a good share in the market.
Handsets Launched By HTC Pakistan
There are 5 handsets which are and will soon be launched in Pakistan. HTC One A9, HTC Desire 728 LTE, HTC Desire 626 (4G), HTC Desire 626 G+, HTC Desire 526 G+ and HTC One X9. These handsets ranges from a very affordable price range that is 13,999/- to 55,250/-. HTC One X9 is one of the most talked about Smartphones with key improved features of multimedia i.e. a bit larger screen along with stereo speakers which are in the front rather than at the rear; HTC One X9 will soon be available in Pakistan, most probably by second week of July 16.

HTC One A9 offers a great design for the user, which costs around 55,250/- PKR. This smartphone is towards the high-end side and has all the reasons to fall under such a price bracket. HTC One A9 delivers wonderful sound quality, with HTC BoomSound™ unified into the headset combined with Dolby Audio™ surround technology. On the contrary, HTC Desire 526G+ looks a stronger contender in mass appeal because it offers an octa-core processor along with a decent battery.

The other handsets have their fair share of important features as well. At the launch many celebrities, officials from HTC Pakistan and Muller and Phipps along with media and blogging fraternity were present. Some prominent names included Sunita Marshal and Nadia Hussain along with a few others. Let’s see what HTC’s Pakistan fate will be in the days to come, as the launch has been organized pre-Ramadan, in Pakistan’s market sales go high in this particular period.
