Recently the World Hepatitis Day passed, on 28th of July. Have you ever imagined how important is the cleanliness factor, when we talk about getting ourselves saved from Hepatitis and other diseases? In Pakistan, The Health Foundation is working officially to lessen diseases and share more awareness to the masses. It is not only the responsibility of organizations but of individuals too, so that others can be saved from facing some fatal diseases like Hepatitis B or C.
In Pakistan, every 12th individual suffers from Hepatitis. It is high time that we should take things in our hands as well and share the knowledge and information which we have, so that others can be benefited from that. For instance the easiest way to avoid Hepatitis is to use fresh blade (commonly known as “razor” in Pakistan’s market) when visiting a Barber’s shop. That’s one way of keeping yourself safe from the disease. Secondly, make this a habit when shaving or getting shaved, try to dip or rinse the blades with anti-bacterial solution which are easily available in the market. This is the most significant way to stay safe from Hepatitis B or C.
In order to know more you can always visit the official website of The Health Foundation as it can be beneficial for your safety and of your loved ones too. Don’t use contaminated utensils or tools as they are potential carriers of diseases like Hepatitis. It’s about time, we should use the digital platform and social media to create content that impart knowledge about how to stay safe and minimize the risk of suffering fatal diseases. You can use Twitter, Facebook or even your blog (in case you blog), to share information and knowledge. We, in Pakistan, have a growing number of internet users and social media users who will be benefited from this information.
