Smartphone Review: Jazz Xplore JS 1

As discussed in the previous post on Jazz Xplore JS 7, Jazz has launched Jazz Xplore JS 1 in collaboration with Q Mobile for low-end users. The highlight of this smartphone is its price which is way too economical to fall under the smartphone range. Secondly, Jazz Xplore JS 1 is a suitable smartphone for less technology friendly users. In Pakistan, masses are not very tech-friendly, that we know. Let’s see what this particular smartphone has to offer to its user.

Jazz Xplore JS 1 – Review:

In a price range of nearly 5,000/- PKR (i.e. USD 50) you can imagine what you are going to get, at least many would have a fair idea. So, Jazz Xplore JS 1 is an entry level smartphone for those who are not tech-savvy yet still want to have a smartphone from a reliable brand. JS 1 offers a good 4” LCD screen which is pretty decent for the users to play with different functions, use apps and take pictures with rear and front camera. The rear camera is a 2 MP whereas the front one (which is used for selfies) is 0.3 MP.

JS 1 has a Quad Core processor with 8 GB ROM (supported up to 32 GB) and 512 MB RAM. The battery is 1400 mAh and JS 1 has Android Lollipop. For a basic user, JS 1 is a good deal as it is a Dual SIM smartphone with G-Sensor and Wi-Fi connectivity. To add more, it is designed nicely to look good and also give a nice feel when held. You can’t expect much from a plastic body smartphone.

In addition to that these sets also offer the ease of usage from a user’s perspective. JS 1 is no different. The user interface is very nice and simple. The handset already offers some basic apps like Facebook, WhatsApp and Skype along with Q Mobile and Jazz Apps.
