Jazz and Q-Mobile have collaborated to launch a series of smartphones. These smartphones are affordable and for basic users. There are a few handsets launched under the series. These smartphones are manufactured by Q-Mobile. Following is a review of Jazz Xplore JS 7.

Jazz Xplore JS 7 – (In A Nutshell)
Jazz Xplore JS 7 offers one year’s warranty. The smartphone has a well-made plastic frame. It offers a 5” display which is pretty decent for personal day to day use. JS 7 has 2 cameras (rear and front). The rear camera is 5 MP and in placed in the exact middle of the smartphone, with flash just below it. The front camera is 2 MP. The speaker is on the back at slight right bottom of the device. JS 7 has collaborative branding on it. At the back on the upper side, Jazz X is printed in red and yellow where as in grey, Q Mobile is printed at the bottom.

JS 7 is a decent yet simple smartphone which is designed for the basic users. Keeping basic users and their use in focus the battery is pretty decent too. There are 2 SIM jackets with a 1 Micro SD card jacket. External memory card is supported to 32 GB.

U/I, Operational Score & Verdict of Jazz Xplore JS 7:
The user interface (U/I) of JS 7 is what you may term as “very simple”. It uses Android Lollipop. This makes it work very finely and effortlessly. Shortcuts are easy to create and this makes users enjoy the usability factor of the smartphone. Selection of Apps is way too easy and pretty handy. This feature makes it easy to use for kids and senior citizens who are mostly challenged by technology. Whether it is contact app, messaging apps or usage of keyboard; everything is hassle free and very simple.

In just 8,000/- PKR, JS 7 offers a 1 GHz Quad Core processor. This is ideal for a basic user. With 1 GB internal memory that can be extended to 32 GB, JS 7 is a good basic level smartphone for masses out there. The battery, 2000 mAh, is also suitable for the users who are not intensive smartphone users. It takes good 2 hours to charge completely. With high rate of text messaging and usual phone calls, the battery lasts for 1.5 – 2 days reasonably. All in all JS 7 is a good smartphone that can be pretty handy for basic users.
