If we look from a marketing point of view, we might conclude that the entire content setting is a clutter. There is no second opinion to the fact that we do have some companies which are sharing quality content and publishing the information in perfect mannerism. On the contrary, there are incalculable companies which are overflowing with worthless content that has no significance for an author as well as the readers.
The Confusion:
Things started to get complicated when it was buzzed that “traditional marketing is working no more” and “Content is the only king”. After hearing this roar from top-notch businesses, every other business started to flood content. Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter became brands’ most loved and powerful channels to share content with the customers. With this started the crazy flare of quantity rich digital content that has, minimal to no, quality added to it. Within a small span of time, companies faced the consequences and realized the fact that “Only content is not the king” but “Quality CONTENT is the King”.
How to create Quality Content:
Can you share a quality write-up that you read last, and you didn’t scan read that? Which was the last article that made you drown in it? For such kind of an article there should be 3 important P’s that should be kept in mind while writing it.
1 – Pleasure:
If you can provide the pleasure of reading to your reader with your article, rest assured that the content is of genuine quality. The reader will not only immensely like the article but will also share it on different platforms but will also look for more articles written by you.
How to add pleasure in writing? The answer is fairly simple, while writing an article keep your focus on a few things
- a) will the article be helpful for your reader?
- b) will the reader be entertained with this sort of content?
- c) have you researched before writing the article?
2 – Place:
Reputation should not be played with. No one wants to be associated with a place that may cause people to raise fingers on ones’ character. High quality content must only be shared and uploaded to the forums and places where there are real readers and not robots. One should be very specific about selecting the place to share the content. Never publish quality content to a site that is spam filled.
3 – Purpose:
Every writer writes with a purpose in mind. For companies, the purpose is serving the strategic goal and for an independent writer the purpose could be to satisfy the needs of the audience. Without purpose no one can create quality content. Purpose should always be accomplished through the content, to make it quality rich.
With the above discussed P’s of Quality Content writing, I am sure that the concept of the phrase “quality content is the king” would be justified.
You are most welcome to share your thoughts and experiences.
