Yes, I am a fan of stand-up comedians. There was a time when I used to learn all the jokes from Russell Peters and used to perform them in my university; good old days. I still spontaneously reply after hearing “f**k You” from friends “You think I’m Ryan’s mom?” Well, those who are freaks and ardent fans of stand-up comedies there’s a good news for you i.e. Comedy Masala (a group of international stand-up comedians) will soon perform in Karachi. They have also planned to perform in Islamabad and Lahore in near future.
This will be Pakistan’s first ever international stand-up comedy show. Get ready to laugh out loud on some hilarious experiences; I have heard quite a lot about these guys – mostly funny things. So, you better not miss this opportunity of lifetime. Mark your calendar from 23rd to 25th February as they will do 2 shows each day; this means 6 in all. This event will be hosted by Umar Rana.
Most of the names might sound new to you but at the end of the day it is all about good time spent with smiling and laughing out loud. This is what Karachi needs in such a tensed situation. I wish all the very best to the entire team behind Comedy Masala.
