The dessert market in Pakistan, especially in Karachi, is gearing up exceptionally well. Over the past few months a few dessert shops have launched and inaugurated with a great promise to deliver high quality food and distinctive taste to their customers. I must admit, a few of them a tad heavy on the pocket but when everyone, and you get a smile on your face after consuming those big bites of sweetness, everything becomes secondary. Anyway, I recently visited “Donutz Gonutz Bakery”, situated at Badar Commercial to specifically check what they are offering, as some of my e-friends and colleagues who have been to this place; they all had pretty good words to say about it.

I bought a dozen donuts. Yes, I am a foodie and I wanted to try as many variations as possible. So, I found a good variation of donuts at Donutz Gonutz to start with. I mean Nutella filled donuts, cookies and lemon combo donuts, chocolate based donuts (Snickers and Dairy Milk) along with usual Boston Cream and Strawberry filled donuts were also there to suit the existing taste of the Karachi-ites.

The undisputed Donut King of Donutz Gonutz is Cookie and Lemon cream combo donut, hands down. The queen is Nutella filled donut. I am sure; those with weak knees for Nutella will keep ordering more and more of these from Donutz Gonutz.
The dozen donuts roughly cost around 1,000/- PKR. The amount is not very exceedingly high nor considered as cheap as it matches the price range of other Donuts based bakeries / outlets. I highly recommend Donutz Gonutz to all those food lovers and dessert lovers who appreciate and always watch out for something different and distinctive.

I have yet to try the cakes of Donutz Gonutz, they were looking very tempting and every bit bite-able. I might review them some other time.
