Fun on weekends is defined in innumerable ways. But when you are married with a kid, always busy with either creating digital strategies on job, blogging, PR and catching up with friends or watching movies to review them; it gets really tiring. But family should always come first and spending quality and fun-filled time with one’s family is sheer blessing. Thank God we (my butter-half & I) are foodies and love to try different cuisines on regular basis. Plus, we also like to experiment cooking something together by brainstorming our ideas – the strategic way i.e. either cheese should be sprinkled over the steak, placed as slice on the top or stuffed in between the loaf of meat to make it high on cheese and the list of modifications continues.
Last weekend, I floated an idea of doing something interesting with potatoes, cheese and chicken, in order to experience mouthwatering and stuffing snacks. So, I took exactly 3 good sized potatoes, sliced them a bit thickly. I didn’t peel the potatoes as I like the skin and deep fried them.

After frying potatoes, we stacked them in such a way that between every slice of crispy fried potatoes a bit of cheddar cheese and thickly chopped chicken pieces were layered. With an addition of very slight dash of crushed red chilies, the entire stack was baked in the oven for hardly 6 – 7 minutes. That’s it!

We enjoyed scrumptious tummy-stuffing and taste yearning snacks at 2 AM. They looked like:
Do try these!
