What’s better than saving the environment? Lays Pakistan is doing a phenomenal campaign titled #CleanAndGreen. The entire focus is on how to keep Pakistan Clean and Green. The brand not only demands a cleaner and greener Pakistan but also provides the solution as well. The solution is really simple and that is #PlantAPack. #PlantAPack means that don’t litter your surroundings by dumping the empty packets of Lays, in fact they can be inverted and filled with sand and flowers, stems or seed to be utilized as smaller pots of plants. By the way, it is proved that one packet has the potential to produce 3 pounds of oxygen. Imagine how much oxygen would be produced if a collective effort is made.
The advocacy for the brand and its awesome step can be seen over social media, particularly on Twitter. Everyone is praising the step, concept and execution. Hats off Lays Pakistan!

The brand ambassadors of this amazing campaign are none other than Wasim Akram (the Sultan of Swing) and Lionel Messi (The heartthrob of countless). And yes, this campaign (There’s A New Chip In Town) is an extension of Lays new flavor #YogurtAndHerb, where both the icons were first featured. Many had questioned about giving Mr. Akram very little screen time as compared to Brazilian celebrity. So, here’s the new TVC especially for you all to cheer up! It highlights only Wasim Akram.
The campaign is reaching to universities to complete its drive. The first institute where the brand reached was IBA in Karachi. Following are a few glimpses from the entire day activity.

Lays Pakistan is exceptionally going out and about to lay greater examples of fulfilling social responsibilities. This should be followed by other brands as well i.e. to come up with such creative, meaningful and environmental friendly campaigns. By the way there’s a competition too! Universities will compete against and the winner will get UEFA Champions League Laptop Bags and Jackets. So, be ready to participate, it’s simple, use and follow the hashtag #PlantAPack and be amazed where it takes you!
