The search of delicious and tasty food took me and my wife to Rosati Bistro (in Karachi). As it was the Mother’s Day, I wanted to treat my wife on behalf of my 1 year old kid. So, we reached at Rosati Bistro for lunch. We were seated within no time. I, being a steak lover ordered the safest bet that is Tarragon Grilled Chicken Steak and my butter-half (better-half) ordered Schezwan Chicken with Mexican Rice. For appetizers, we ordered Mexican Nachos – this time we didn’t order our usual Chicken Quesadillas. We were served with complementary basket of French Fries – they were crisp and evenly fried with same golden-ish color and tasted good.
Reviewing Mexican Nachos – Rosati Bistro:
Mexican Nachos arrived within 10 minutes and they were yummy. The salsa sauce was hot and sour cream was towards milder side. The combination scored 3.5/5 in terms of taste. Nachos were larger in size, thick and chicken was tender with a bit of spice in it and it tasted great.
Reviewing Tarragon Chicken Steak – Rosati Bistro
The Tarragon Grilled Chicken steak was served hot with mashed potatoes and white creamy tarragon sauce. Hands down the first bite of that chicken loaded with creamy sauce made me its fan. The flavor was very intense. I have tried Tarragon Chicken Steaks at many cafes and restaurant, but this one was high on tarragon’s flavor. If you are looking for a heavy dose of tarragon then you better visit Rosati Bistro.
Chicken Schezwan was a great example of boldness of taste. With Mexican rice the julienned chicken, green peppers and onions tasted somewhat moderate. The serving size of rice could have been increased (just a suggestion).
Finally arrived Strawberry Smoothie and Strawberry Pina-colada, – to beat the heat of Karachi. Both the drinks had their distinctive tastes. Strawberry smoothie was thick and very refreshing with overpowering taste of strawberries. On the other hand, Strawberry Pina-colada was a decent combo of strawberries and coconut cream. The essence of coconut was dominating, which I found very energizing.
Finally, as it was Mother’s Day, the management served a slice of Strawberry Cheesecake, wishing “Happy Mother’s Day”. It was a very homely feeling and warmth of customer care could be noticed by this gesture. The cheesecake was pure delight. It was a day spent very well. I’ll visit Rosati Bistro again, to try something else as well – very soon.
